Engineered for a Simple, Non-Destructive Fit: Our well covers feature a robust steel support framework that is designed to sit directly over your well's opening. This allows you to install your surrounding flooring right up to its edge for a seamless, protected finish. While the steel frame is a permanent installation, the glass panel is silicone-sealed into place. This allows for simple, infrequent access—such as for changing a lightbulb or occasional maintenance—by carefully cutting and resealing the glass, with no destruction to your surrounding floor. For more frequent access, we offer hinged systems, though these are predominantly designed for the spiral wine cellar market.
Uncompromising Safety: Your safety is our top priority. Our glass well covers are made with toughened and laminated safety glass and are UKCA certified to meet rigorous load-bearing standards (2.0kN concentrated load and 150kg/sqm). Built to Last: Our frames are treated with a powder-coated finish for internal use and can be galvanized for moist or external environments. We also apply a Ritec Clearshield coating to the underside of the glass that helps to reduce condensation and mould build-up, ensuring a clear view for years to come.
