Site Survey Fee

An on-site survey visit by one of our technicians, for projects where a replacement glass floor or cellar door cannot be quoted from photographs alone.

During the visit we will:

• inspect how the existing unit is constructed and mounted
• check the fixings and surrounding structure
• take the measurements needed to manufacture a replacement
• remove the existing hatch, if it can be done safely by one person on the day

Where a unit is jammed, structurally complex or too heavy for one person to lift out safely, the visit acts as a survey to plan the removal, and a follow-up two-person visit is quoted separately.

Following the survey we provide a detailed quotation for a made-to-measure replacement.

Visits are booked approximately one week from cleared payment. No delivery charge applies to this item.
