Enhanced Safety System: Your safety is our priority. The system includes a pinch-auto reverse function that automatically stops and reverses if an obstruction is detected, and a closing sounder (can be toggled off) to alert you to its operation. A key override is also included to prevent unauthorised use and increase safety. 

Certified Quality & Strength: The hatch is built with a minimum of 25.5mm toughened and laminated structural glass, fully sealed within a robust steel framework that is UKCA certified.

Bespoke & Seamless Design: Each hatch is custom-made to fit your floor recess perfectly. The frame overlaps the aperture for a secure, self-supporting install. Flush stainless steel hinges maintain a smooth, trip-free floor surface.

Important Product Details & Warnings

Intended Use: This hatch is ideal for occasional access to wine cellars, storage areas, or basement rooms. It is not designed for primary access to habitable rooms and should be used internally in dry areas only.

Anti-Slip Treatment: We include an invisible non-slip treatment (PTV 68 rated) as standard, which significantly reduces the risk of slipping without affecting glass transparency.

Building Control: Please ensure this product meets any local building control requirements where relevant.

Installation & Lead Times

Simple "Plug-and-Play" Install: The system arrives fully assembled with plug-and-play electrics, making it simple for any competent tradesperson to install. All that's needed is a standard UK wall socket to get it working.

Lead Time: As a custom-made electric system, the lead time is approximately 10-12 weeks from order.
